Sakrete Substrate Mortar is a factory-made dry mortar that is ready-to-use. It is used for play-free anchoring and connecting of steel and concrete lintels, noise barriers, bridge supports, machines, columns and crane tracks. It is also suitable for sealing joints between concrete elements.

This mortar has a strength class of K60, a layer thickness of 10-70 mm and a grain diameter of up to 4 mm. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, has low shrinkage (maximum shrinkage of -1.0%), has a high stability and does not contain chlorides. It is also resistant to frost and de-icing salt.

To use a 25 kg bag, approximately 2.9 liters of clean tap water is required. The water should be poured into a clean container, approximately 2/3 of the specified water volume, and while stirring continuously with a suitable mixer, the mortar should be added until a lump-free homogeneous mixture is formed. Due to the swelling behavior of the mortar during curing, the spaces will also remain completely filled during and after curing.
